Every bespoke wedding invitation suite is custom designed and printed by hand on an antique letterpress in house (by me!).
At Dancing Pen & Press, we are honest and transparent. We don't think you should need to email or jump on a call just to get a price quote. Let's get that out of the way right now, so we can get to the fun part: designing your dream wedding suite!

Please note: if you need custom artwork that has to be hand painted or drawn, such as crests or venue illustrations, the estimator can't quote for that. When you fill out the contact form, please give me all the details of your custom art needs so I can quote you accurately.
Main Invitation
Our standard invitations are A7 (~5×7″), one color letterpress, printed on 110# Crane Lettra paper, and come with one blank envelope. Order minimum is 25, and they are sold in increments of 5. For more than 500, message me and I will quote you.
About giclée printing and inner envelopes
Giclée is how watercolor artwork is printed: crests, wavy watercolor borders and similar. Watercolor elements sometimes carry a separate design fee; message me with your ideas and I will quote it. Giclée and 220# paper cannot be combined, so choosing one clears the other.
Inner envelopes are a traditional upgrade. In the horse-and-buggy era, post arrived grubby from the journey; the butler removed the soiled addressed envelope to reveal a pristine inner one carrying the guests' names. About one client in ten chooses them today. The quantity shown here is for A7, which is the standard size. We can source A9 inner envelopes as a custom order, so please message us for pricing options.
Reply Card
insert card 1There are two kinds of reply card. A traditional reply card is filled out by your guests and mailed back to you, so it needs its own envelope. An online reply card is a printed card carrying your wedding website, and a QR code if you choose, so your guests can reply immediately. Online reply cards do not need a separate envelope.

Hand Calligraphy Design
This is the design of the letterpress cards, not envelope addressing. The same at any quantity.
What the difference is
If you would rather have hand calligraphy than a script font, I hand-scribe your wording and then digitize it. Either way your cards are letterpressed. Spot calligraphy pairs a block font with hand-lettered names, venue and similar highlights. Full means the entire suite is hand-lettered. Please note I do not offer hand calligraphy addressing.
Envelope Liners
Priced to match your main invitation quantity. Custom printed liners may carry a design fee. Message me with your ideas for a quote.
